I’m Claris (she/her), a Chinese Canadian multi-genre author and poet writing to inspire you with hope, perseverance, creativity, and happy endings.
When the literary world (and the IRL world) can be full of despair, cynicism and difficult times, I believe that it’s important to stay hopeful, persevere, and find creative solutions to make the world a better place. I hope that reading my poetry and fiction inspires you to do just that.
I’m also a member of the Kitchener-Waterloo Writers’ Alliance, and I’ve also had the pleasure of being a judge for WriteHive’s 2024 and 2025 Indie Ink Awards.
