My Flash Fiction Piece, “Waterlogged Boredom,” is now published in the anthology “Sensorially Challenged, Volume 3!”

Hello, fellow readers and writers! I have some NEWS for all of you.

My flash fiction piece, “Waterlogged Boredom,” was published in Sensorially Challenged, Volume 3, edited by Christopher Fielden and Allen Ashley!

I previously mentioned, in my May Update post, that my flash fiction piece “Waerlogged Boredom” would be published in the anthology Sensorially Challenged, Volume 3, edited by Christopher Fielden and Allen Ashley. The anthology is now officially published as of today, so you can go and get one now (online, that is)!

This story was a submission to Fielden and Ashley’s Sensory Writing Challenge, where each piece of writing in the anthology is full of sensory description (including touch, taste, sight, sound, and smell).  An anthology is published for every one-hundred stories submitted to this challenge (though they recently changed this to every two-hundred submissions after all submissions were filled for Volume 3). You can click here to check out more details about the Sensory Writing Challenge, and click here to find out more about Sensorially Challenged, Volume 3!

The money made through anthology sales will be donated to the National Literacy Trust, an organization committed to helping raise literacy levels in the UK. I’m happy to contribute to an anthology donating to a great cause, and also have my work featured along with many other authors.

Please check out Sensorially Challenged, Volume 3, and purchase a copy on Amazon (it’s available in both e-book and physical formats). I hope that you enjoy reading my story featured in this anthology, and also the ninety-nine other stories.

I also want to give a big THANK YOU to Christopher Fielden and Allen Ashley for accepting my work! I’m incredibly grateful to have the chance to be part of this anthology.
